More About Ella Rae Cole
Raised by the snowy rocky mountains of Montana, and by the sandhill cranes of her backyard, the ambiance of Ella Rae's songwriting draws inspiration from the stunning landscape of her homeland. Speaking to her younger or imagined selves in most of her writing, she uses music to tend to the sensitivity that can sometimes show up in life as either a gift or a burden.
Her songs vary in style and are often inspired by various alternate tunings on the guitar as well as lyrical and melodic inspiration picked up along travels to places like Portugal, Turkey, and Estonia.
Ella is currently based in her hometown, Bozeman, working on the final touches of her debut full length album and playing music around the state.
